Composite decking — manufactured from wood fibre and plastic resin — is widely used in UK gardens as a low-maintenance alternative to timber decking. Surface damage from scratches, chips and impact is repairable professionally without replacing deck boards.

Types of Composite Decking Damage

Surface scratches — from garden furniture, pets, BBQ equipment and general use. Composite decking is more scratch-resistant than timber but not scratch-proof.
Chips and impact damage — from dropped tools, heavy garden equipment or furniture impact.
Colour fading — composite decking can fade in UV over time. Colour restoration treatment can improve the appearance.
Board end damage — the ends of composite boards are more vulnerable to chipping.

Brands We Work With

Trex, Millboard, Composite Prime, UltraDecking, Cladco and all major composite decking brands. Colour matching to the original shade (accounting for weathering) is achievable on most standard colours.
