Glass mosaic tiles — small glass tiles typically 20x20mm or 25x25mm set in sheets — are used in premium bathroom and swimming pool applications. Individual tiles can chip or fall out, leaving a visible gap in the mosaic pattern. Professional repair restores the surface without re-tiling the entire area.

What Glass Mosaic Damage Can Be Repaired?

Missing tiles — where an individual tile or small group of tiles has fallen out. Replacement tiles are sourced (where available) or colour-matched glass pieces are cut and fitted.
Chips in glass tiles — individual tile chips can be filled with colour-matched transparent compound on some tile types.
Grout deterioration — the grout between glass mosaic tiles can be removed and replaced without disturbing the tiles.

The Challenge of Glass Mosaic Repair

Glass mosaic tiles are often discontinued — finding an exact match for a tile from a few years ago can be impossible. Our technicians carry a range of standard glass tile colours and can hand-cut tiles to the required size where needed. On unusual or discontinued colours, we will advise honestly on the closest achievable match.
