Marble effect quartz — engineered stone designed to replicate the appearance of natural marble with grey, gold or green veining on a white or cream background — is the fastest growing quartz category in UK kitchens. It is also among the more challenging to repair, as the veining pattern must be continued through the repair area.
Popular Marble Effect Quartz We Repair
Silestone Eternal Calacatta Gold, Eternal Statuario — white background with gold and grey veining. Very popular and repairable to a high standard.
Caesarstone Calacatta Nuvo, White Attica — classic Calacatta-style designs. Well matchable.
Quartz Master Calacatta — popular accessible marble effect. Repairable.
Dekton Aura — marble effect sintered stone. More challenging but achievable on edge chips.
How We Repair Veined Quartz
After filling and shaping the chip, we continue the veining pattern through the repair area using fine brush techniques. The veining direction and character are observed in the surrounding surface and replicated. On most standard marble effect designs, the result is very convincing.
Cost
Marble effect quartz chip repair typically costs £100–£250 depending on the complexity of the veining. Send us photos for a fixed price.
