On Carrara and other white marbles, yes — at normal viewing distance. We continue the grey veining through the repair area. From standing and looking at the fireplace, you will not see it.
The marble is Victorian and has yellowed with age. Can you still match the aged colour?
Yes. We always match the aged colour as it exists today, not the original factory colour. This is standard practice in all our natural stone repair work.
