All Surface Repair Specialists work carries a workmanship warranty. Here is exactly what that means.
What the Warranty Covers
Our warranty covers defects in our workmanship — specifically:
Material failure — if the repair compound delaminates, shrinks significantly or fails to adhere within the warranty period due to our workmanship, we return and resolve it at no cost.
Colour match failure — if the colour match deteriorates significantly within the warranty period in a way attributable to our materials or technique, we address it.
Finish failure — if the gloss level or surface finish of the repair changes significantly in the warranty period due to our materials, we address it.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
New damage — if the repaired area sustains a new chip or impact after the repair, this is not covered. The area is as vulnerable to new damage as the surrounding original surface.
Inappropriate cleaning — using bleach, abrasive cleaners or other inappropriate products on the repair area is not covered.
Normal use wear — gradual wear over many years is not a warranty failure.
Warranty Period
Our standard warranty period is 12 months. We discuss this with every customer before work commences.
