What Is Kitchen Cabinet Spraying?

Kitchen cabinet spraying is the application of a professional spray coating to existing kitchen doors and frames, transforming their appearance without removing or replacing them. The process is carried out in your home with full masking and containment — protecting your worktops, appliances and floors.

The Process

Day 1 — doors and drawer fronts are removed. All surfaces are cleaned, degreased and sanded to provide a key. Any damage — chips, scratches — is repaired before coating.
Day 2 — primer is applied, followed by two coats of the chosen colour in professional satin or matt finish.
Day 3 — doors are refitted with new hinges and soft-close hardware if required. The kitchen is left clean and fully functional.

How Long Does It Last?

A professionally sprayed kitchen using two-pack polyurethane coatings will last 10–15 years with normal use. The finish is harder and more durable than factory-applied melamine.
