Neolith is a premium sintered stone surface manufactured by TheSize in Spain. Like Dekton, it is produced under extreme heat and pressure, making it extremely hard and resistant — but also more brittle than conventional quartz at edges and corners.
Is Neolith Repairable?
Neolith can be repaired, though it shares the challenges of all sintered stone materials — the extreme hardness makes some repair techniques less effective. However, edge chips and corner chips are repairable in most cases using specialist techniques.
We will always give an honest assessment. For Neolith repairs, we recommend sending clear photos of the damage before committing to a visit, so we can advise accurately on feasibility.
Neolith Collections We Work With
Neolith is available in a wide range of collections including the Stone Series, Iron Series and Timber Series. Plain and near-plain colours (whites, greys, blacks) are the most straightforward to repair. Complex stone-effect patterns require more careful assessment.
Common Neolith Damage
Edge chips — the most common type. The hardness of sintered stone makes it brittle at unsupported edges.
Corner damage — similar to edge chips but at the corners of worktop slabs.
Impact cracks — from very heavy impact. These are more difficult to repair invisibly.
Cost
Neolith chip assessment is free — send us photos and we will advise on feasibility and cost. We cover the South East and UK.
